When Scarlett realizes she has the wrong stone, she backtracks to find the correct one. When she finds the right stone she starts to head back down to save George. When she gets to the seventh floor, she sees her father's body hanging. In Dante's Inferno, the Seventh Circle of Hell is called Violence. Violence is separated into 3 separate sections, violence against thy neighbor, violence against thyself, and violence against God. Violence against thyself is a forest known as the Woods of Suicide, where all suicides go when they die.
