Elektra's name proves to be ironic, potentially to mislead the audience. Whereas in Greek mythology, the character Electra revenges the murder of her father, in this Elektra causes it in revenge for not immediately securing her release from her kidnappers, and for - as she sees it - stealing what should have been her mother's inheritance. A big clue to the latter is when Bond says 'Your father's legacy' and she corrects him with 'My family's legacy'.
