In season six, Christopher repeatedly refers to his film project as "Saw meets The Godfather". In one episode, he's even seen watching Saw on DVD. Tobin Bell, the actor who's played the main character Jigsaw in the Saw movie franchise, appears in the third season of The Sopranos as a military school official.
