It has been said that she series' cancellation was due to stiff television competition. It aired on Thursday nights during the same time slot as Friends, Mad About You, Living Single, and Martin. The show got a brief second chance on MTV before ABC officially canceled it. MTV aired episodes during its Buzz Bin programming block to try and gain a bigger teenage audience.
