Elliott (Brendan Fraser) is granted his wish to be president, he becomes Abraham Lincoln, the 16th president of the United States. President Lincoln was assassinated at Ford's Theater in Washington DC. When he shot President Lincoln John Wilkes Booth shouted "Sic Semper Tyrannis!", Latin for "Thus Always to Tyrants.", just as the actor (Julian Firth) did in this scene.
