This was the first Bond movie with a ski sequence for Pierce Brosnan, and the first Bond movie to have a scene in the snow since 007 - Zona pericolo (1987). Brosnan did not know how to ski, so he mimicked his ski scenes with short poles while riding on the back of a moving Ski-doo snowmobile.
