Showtime CEO and President and David Nevins said on 8th August 2017 that Purity has been delayed until 2019 because Daniel Craig must first complete a Bond film. This therefore confirmed that Craig would be returning to play Agent 007. Nevins said: "He's doing Bond first. I can't say anything about what I know or don't know about Bond. That's not my area."
