During the song "Waiting on a Miracle", Mirabel literally outlines the entire plot of the film to follow. She sings about being alone, which she is for much of the plot; she sings 3 times to Abuela to "open your eyes" which is what required to fix the magic; she says she "would heal what's broken" which is what she ends up doing. She even poses as she will be seen in Bruno's vision, with green fireworks behind her. Immediately after the song ends, the first piece of Casita falls to the ground.
