Was shown in Philippine theaters months after "Saw 3D" (2010) was screened there. This mainly had to do with the film's distributor in the country, Pioneer Films, having trouble editing the film to achieve a wider, friendlier rating (R-13), as opposed to the American version which would have received an R-18. Pioneer Films was targeting as many screens as possible, and the biggest movie theater chain in the country, SM Cinemas, have not played R-18 films since May 2006.
