Actors Kevyn Major Howard (Rafterman), Kirk Taylor (Payback) and Tony Spiridakis (whose part of Captain January was cut from the film) all portrayed violent thugs in the Death Wish franchise. Howard played a criminal named Stomper in Il giustiziere della notte 2 (1982), and Taylor and Spiridakis played gang members Giggler and Angel respectively in Il giustiziere della notte 3 (1985).
