Richard Thomas and Ralphe Waite, who played John Boy and John Walton Sr on the iconic 70s TV show the Waltons, both appeared on The Practice as defendants accused of Murder, in different episodes. Another Waltons actor, Mary Elizabeth Mcdonough; who played Erin on the Waltons; would appear on Boston Legal in a couple of episodes as well.
