The role of Daredevil was previously played by Ben Affleck, who also played Jack Ryan in Al vertice della tensione (2002). That character, portrayed by Alec Baldwin previously appeared in Caccia a Ottobre Rosso (1990), in which Scott Glenn also appeared in. Affleck and Baldwin appeared together in Pearl Harbor (2001), which featured Affleck's ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, who also played Elektra.
