The song "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)" by Journey coming on in the arcade, when Sam turned on the breakers, is ironic in more ways than one. While the song fits in some ways the relationship with his father, it is interesting to note that many of the 45rpm singles made in the early 1980s for jukeboxes of that song, featured the song "Only Solutions" (from the original Tron movie's arcade scene) as the single's B-side.Standard 45s of the day would have a popular song on side A backed a less popular song from the same album in order to give the song a boost in demand. On occasion it would turn the B-side into a hit as well. As jukebox content was not updated as frequently as radio playlists, It was fairly common for record companies to focus on driving multiple album sales by releasing special 45s just for jukeboxes with the A-side being a current hit and the B-side being from the previous album.
