"Star Wars" composer John Williams also wrote both versions of the theme song for this show, with the first version used in seasons 1 and 2, and the second one in season 3.. He is credited here as "Johnny Williams". A modernized version of the latter theme is used in the "Lost in Space - Perduti nello spazio (1998)" movie's closing credits and the Netflix "Lost in Space (2018)" reboot.
