As with the original tv series, Lalo Schrifin's theme music can be heard throughout the film, but continually re-arranged to suit both to underline the story drama, and with various instrumentation styles adjusted for the location, such as Morocco has a more "traditional ethnic" style in some sequences. The film musical choices are clearly echoing the original episodes' music scores - more obvious if you recognise the motifs from the tv scores.
