The colour of the yellow mini is almost the same as in the original movie. Though the press kit refers to it as yellow, dialogue in the movie refers to it as apricot. It is a kind of orangey-yellow colour. In the New Zealand film 'Second Hand Wedding' (2008), the mini long van panel van, which payed homage to 'Goodbye Pork Pie' (1980), was yellow.
