It's believed that The Midnight Society is never shown starting the campfire because the creators of the show didn't want kids watching to learn how to start fires but this is false. In fact, The Tale Of The Ghastly Grinner starts with a close-up of Gary lighting a match but the logs are wet and Kiki starts the fire by rubbing 2 sticks together.
