It took a few hours to fully apply Jennifer Lim's "burned face/dangling eye make-up". The make-up was so realistic that when she looked at herself in a mirror for the first time after it was applied, she began to cry. She said that she would understand why her character would commit suicide after seeing the effects of the torture done upon her.
