Lar Park-Lincoln who plays Kate in the movie, and Kane Hodder who played the man in the Gorilla costume as well as the stunt coordinator, also appear together in "Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood," where Lar Park-Lincoln plays Tina Shepherd and Kane Hodder plays Jason Voorhees. It was a sequel to another Sean S. Cunningham production, "Friday the 13th" (1980).
