The only actors to reprise their roles from the first film are Scout-Taylor Compton, Malcolm McDowell, Brad Dourif, Danielle Harris, Tyler Mane, Daniel Roebuck and Sheri Moon Zombie. The role of young Michael had to be recast when Daeg Faerch had outgrown the role.
