The radio's broadcast in the opening credits, that seems to run through different stations, is actually made of sound clips from other short films made by the people involved in Venatio. The films are O Deus Neon (2015), Luz Natural (2015), Ninho dos Pequenos (2009) and Washed Up (2015). They have in common the fact that they were not selected by the famous Gramado Film Festival in Brazil, which held an important show featuring short films from the State of Rio Grande do Sul where all these titles were produced. The idea came after Venatio was selected to the Festival's 2016 edition as a way to these "renegade" titles to play there.
