John Wesley Shipp (Barry Allen / The Flash) would later play Barry Allen's father Henry Allen in The Flash (2014). Additionally, in the final episode of season 2, he plays The Flash, albeit the Earth 3 version of the Flash. He would also reprise his role as Barry Allen in the Elseworlds crossover.
