Danielle Ferland, who plays Kim (a member of the focus group) has a long history with productions of Stephen Sondheim's musicals. As a child, she played Louise / boy bathing in the river in the original Broadway cast of Sunday in the Park with George and Little Red Riding Hood in the original Broadway cast of Into the Woods. She also played Fredrika Armfeldt in the 1990 New York City Opera revival of A Little Night Music, and in 2012 she returned to Into The Woods, this time in the lead adult role of the Baker's Wife, at the Baltimore Center Stage.
