In October 2021 it was announced that the first UK soap opera crossover involving Soaps Coronation Street (1960), EastEnders, Valle di luna (1972) and Hollyoaks (1995) and Medical dramas Casualty (1986) and Doctors (2000) to highlight climate change. The crossover will be the biggest ever and the first of its kind.
