Steven Moffat's 1999 Comic Relief spoof of Doctor Who (prior to the reboot of the series) had a woman, Joanna Lumley, as the 13th Doctor, unknowingly foreshadowing the casting of a woman as the 13th Doctor after Steven's departure, and replacement by Chris Chibnall.
