88rising released the album for Shang-Chi's official soundtrack. You can see its logo "88" in the credits. The CEO of 88rising, Sean Miyashiro, once said 88rising is "The Disney of Asian hip-hop". Simu Liu also sang one of the songs, Hot Soup, in the album. Another song, Lose Control, is sung by famous Singaporean singer/songwriter JJ Lin. Lazy Susan featuring famous Chinese rapper MaSiWei, who often raps in Sichuanese Mandarin.
