When Azucena goes to her bank to make a protest, she is accompanied by a citizen platform called "Stop Desahucios" (Stop Evictions). It's a real-life platform founded in November 2010, dedicated to boycott police when is making evictions using non-aggression resistance. It's part to the Spanish association Plataforma de Afectados por la Hipoteca (Platform for People Affected by Mortgages), which was founded in February 2009, created to prevent that people kept their houses and prevent evictions executed by the banks after the world crisis happened on November 2008.
