During season five, episode four,, "Devil's Night", James Patrick March (Evan Peters) holds the annual Devil's Night Soirée, the guest list including notorious American serial killers such as Alieen Wuornous (Lily Rabe), John Wayne Gacy (John Carroll Lynch), Richard Ramirez (Anthony Ruivivar), Jeffery Dahmer (Seth Gabel), and the Zodiac Killer. Interestingly enough, John Carrol Lynch, who played Gacy in this episode, was in David Fincher's Zodiac (2007), based on the Zodiac killings in Northern California in the late 1960s and 70s. Lynch played Arthur Leigh Allen, who was considered to be the most prominent suspect for the Zodiac Killer in the actual case of the murders.
