The girls' clothing starts out very plain and modest, Robin Tunney joking that the studio were getting worried at how dowdy they appeared in the first act. As their powers grow, it's reflected in their wardrobe becoming more flattering. Rachel True joked that as their powers grew, their skirts shrunk.
