Of the 26 cast members who appeared in the opening credits, eight had introductory clips that never changed during their entire run on the series (in order of first appearance): Anthony Edwards, Maria Bello, Alex Kingston, Kellie Martin, Paul McCrane, Michael Michele, Erik Palladino, and Mekhi Phifer. Laura Innes had the highest number of intro clips at five (although one was merely the same shot flipped around), followed by Sherry Stringfield and Maura Tierney at four each. While John Stamos, David Lyons and Angela Bassett also had just one intro clip, they were used only once, in the series finale.
