John Nathan-Turner was the longest-serving producer of the series (1980 - 1989). Sadly, Nathan-Turner was held in low regard by senior BBC executives and never worked as a producer in television again following the series' cancellation, though he did produce several Doctor Who-related videos and the 30th anniversary spoof Doctor Who: Dimensions in Time (1993).
