Kincaid's dog is named Jason, a possible nod to some of the Friday the 13th movies, where the slasher's name is Jason Voorhees. What makes this rather interesting, is in this movie Jason (the dog) brings Freddy back to life, and in Freddy vs. Jason (2003), Freddy brings Jason back to life.
