Film released along side big film like Yamla Pagla Deewana Phiir Se which was big flop.Marathi horror film Savita Damodar Paranjpe released on same day and both films did well.Follwing week it had a big competitor Hollywood horror film The Nun.But none of the film's affected Stree's box office success.
