Nat Wolff, brother of Alex Wolff also starred in a road trip movie in 2015, Città di carta (2015). Both movies involved a student skipping school to go on a quest which takes them to different states to find people who are considered mysterious by others. Both characters played by Nat and Alex were shown hitchhiking and had a scene where they are challenged by a friend to turn around and go home, both of which are met by a frustrated refusal and the determination to continue. Both films ended with the quest succeeding in that they find the people they sought out, but fail in the respect of the original intent which inspired the quest itself. Additionally, both soundtracks contain a song by Nat and Alex Wolff themselves.
