Even though she was considered the Scream Queen in Hollywood at this point, having starred in a slew of horror movies (Halloween - La notte delle streghe (1978), Il signore della morte (1981), Fog (1980), Terror Train (1980), and Non entrate in quella casa (1980)) and even though horror movies were infamous for exploiting their female stars, Jamie Lee Curtis says she did not feel exploited in Hollywood until she began starring in mainstream movies like this one. She never had been asked to appear naked in any of the horror movies she starred in, but once she went mainstream, she had to take her top off.
