If a person listens closely to the soundtrack and sound effects in the film (preferably the Ultimate Cut), one can clearly hear the sound of the Kryptonian World Engine clearly before Bruce Wayne's dream sequences begin. As this film is about Bruce trying to kill Superman as a result of the destruction he brought upon Metropolis in L'uomo d'acciaio (2013) and he could potentially bring to the world, it's possible that, in the context of the events, Bruce is suffering from a PTSD-like psychological scenario because he feels so powerless against Superman.
