In a deleted scene, Cressida and Hitch meet again, but it didn't make it into the movie because it was decided that Cressida character wasn't needed to help Hitch get over his commitment issues with Sara. Andy Tennant the director even said that there was supposed to be scenes where Cressida and Hitch go on a date together so Hitch finally gets his second chance with her. After seeing that she was clearly not the one for him he runs back to Sara.
