Through season 4, Paul Reiser calls Eleven, Kiddo. This is a nod to him calling Ellen Ripley, Kiddo, in Aliens, during the nightmare chest burst scene near the beginning of the movie. The movie Aliens was also released in 1986 which is when Season 4 is set.
