Seasons two and three are the only identical opening credits. New footage of the cast was recorded for every season thereafter, excluding the 10th (final). However, the last two are not identical, due to the major cast changes and adjustments: during the ninth season, Jason Priestley and Tiffani Thiessen left, Luke Perry returned, Daniel Cosgrove and Lindsay Price were promoted to regular cast members, and newcomer Vanessa Marcil joined the cast. She left during the 10th season.
