The interior of Mooney's book store where Joe works was filmed on a set built in the Bronx. Though ostensibly located in New York's East Village, it is actually situated in Manhattan's Yorkville district where Logos Book Store (1575 York Ave) is used for the exteriors. The nearby Gracie's Wines is often captured in various shots throughout the series.
