Joel Kinnaman's physique was used as one of the focal points to market the show as it was getting a lot of attention in the media. Kinnaman underwent a dramatic physical transformation for the role to acquire an extremely bulked up and shredded physique with highly-defined six pack abs which he showed off in countless shirtless scenes. All stills, trailers and clips released for the show included multiple shots of Kinnaman's shirtless physique and Kinnaman spoke at length about his workout regime during every interview to promote the show. To further capitalize on Kinnaman's physique, on 21st February 2018, the show's social media accounts released a highly-shared promotional video titled "Cyber Hunks" that was a montage of all Kinnaman's shirtless scenes including close-up shots of his abs flexing as well as a nude shot. Kinnaman had previously stated that he had no objections to taking off his clothes and in-fact was extremely proud to show off his best ever physique.
