Admiral Kuzan Aokiji, should have died when he was stabbed by Whitebeard during the "Summit War" Arc. At that precise moment Aokiji was charging towards Whitebeard to which Whitebeard immediately stabs' him with his "Murakumogiri" spear weapon. Whitebeard a Haki user should have killed Aokiji when he stabbed him, yet Aokiji survived. A swirl of ice can be seen surrounding Whitebeard's spear where he stabbed Aokiji, meaning 2 things. Either Aokiji was fast enough to evade whitebeards stab since he is a Logia type, kind of like Katakuri did against Luffy's Gatling Gun. Or, Whitebeard intentionally didn't use Haki against Aokiji to avoid killing him, for reasons unknown. One of these must have happened because, Aokiji was stabbed, and not just by anyone, Whitebeard himself, and he is still alive.
