According to lore that was established later in the Dynamite comics, immortals continue to age after their first death. Aging only stops after their first encounter with the Quickening, when an immortal takes the head of another of their kind and consumes their essence. This means that Connor continued to age until after his training with Ramirez, and the point in which he took his first head has still not yet been revealed in the expanded mythos. Christopher Lambert was twenty-eight when filming, which gives us a rough timeline of when Connor had his first quickening, at some point when he was living in Scotland with his first wife Heather, after Ramirez's death at the hands of the Kurgan.
