Prior to the film's release Clive Russell revealed that he shot a scene with Benicio Del Toro (The Collector) who was not yet publicly confirmed to appear in this film. This scene was not in the final cut, with The Collector meeting Sif (Jaimie Alexander) and Volstagg (Ray Stevenson), instead.
