(at around 29 mins) On the first night at the Abbey, before Irene and Father Burke are lured away separately by Valak's apparitions, Irene notices a picture of the Abbey's younger nuns. This photo is also shown in Annabelle 2: Creation (2017), and it is implied in that movie that Sister Charlotte was a former member of the Abbey.
