According to Kim Kondrashoff (Jenkins the vampire biker), the characterization of Jenkins was based on a cat Kim once owned that was crazy and anti-social. The cat would get very territorial with food when being fed by Kim and would also growl while eating and cough up hair balls. Kim would try to mimic the cat with some of his delivery in his scenes.
