When M meets James Bond at the safe house, the sign on the door states the premises as being "Hildebrand & Company - Rarities & Antiquities". The Hildebrand safe house is a reference to Ian Fleming's short story in the "For Your Eyes Only" (1960) anthology called "The Hildebrand Rarity". Large portions of "The Hildebrand Rarity" were used in 007 - Vendetta privata (1989) starring Timothy Dalton as James Bond. These included the Milton Krest character.
