(at around 1h 30 mins) In the finale at the super-collider, Gwen falls down from a great height into oblivion, and Miles dives after her, grabs her, and then webs her to safety, which is an allusion to The Night Gwen Stacy Died and a famous fandom debate about what Peter could have done to save her. Earlier in the movie, Gwen webs up Peter in mid-freefall, which was how her neck ended up snapping.
