The film's takes place later in the Timeline of the Manga than the Anime; as a result some things that hadn't happened yet in the Anime appear in the Film like, for example, Endevor having a large Scar across the face from his Battle with a Nomu later in Season 4 or some characters having power ups that had yet to be established, like Deku's Shoot Style.
