Some scenes (specifically the fight in the Temuco city hall and Alberto and Ernesto running for their lives afterward) couldn't be filmed in Temuco because it had changed over the years. They were filmed in Lautaro, a nearby city. Coincidentally, the real-life mechanic's wife lived in a house a few meters from the filming.
